Rea: ~sitting along the banks of the river in spirit I think about what Raghnall and I talked about and the more recent memories that I have recovered~ 

Innis -sits next to you- so father told me the two of you had a talk, how are you holding up? 

Rea: ~shrugs~ I’m okay still confused because not all my memories have returned yet. 

Innis -takes your hand in mine- tell me what is the last memory you have recovered we’ll work from there. 

Rea: ~twines my fingers with yours, leans in and brushes your lips with a quick kiss~ The last memory I have is of the marriage proposal. 

Innis -taking my free hand and running my fingers through your hair~ talk to me rea what are you feeling? 

Rea: ~lifts my eyes to yours~ Confused as hell, right now with you I feel like I was betraying you and everything that we have. I know that you, through Levi, gave me your blessing, but it still doesn’t feel right sitting here now with you. I still don’t know how I could love him and was so willing to marry him when you and your father are telling me he’s such a threat to the family and our daughter. What am I still missing Innis? 

Innis -takes a deep breath- rea he planned on taking morgaine the whole time. you were never a part of the deal he planned on getting rid of you as soon as he could. we didn’t know of this till the end of your pregnancy and by that time you had become so sick and weak. morgaine could hear his thoughts she knew of his plans for her and for you. he was pleased that you were growing weaker he figured he could get what he wanted your death and our daughter. the only problem was you grew too weak and it was effecting morgaine as well. -smiling- even his magic couldn’t help you at that point. he had no other choice, but to take you to nero who in turn had to take you to mother. nero could communicate with morgaine and she told him what the demon planned. they then kept you out of his clutches while trying to keep you alive long enough to deliver morgaine. aunt breena made sure that we were aware of what was going on with everything. 

Rea: So if I was with your family and they got me through to the delivery then why am I here? 

Innis -runs my free hand through my hair- because morgaine knew you’d be safer here then with her. she’s right too even if it hurts to be away from her you’re safer here with me at least until we can rid ourselves of this s.o.b. once and for all. 

Rea: ~sighs~ Is that even possible? You all thought you had defeated him once before and look what happened.

Innis -grins- with morgaine, the family and if anton come through we’ll have an added weapon we can’t lose this time babe. 

Rea: ~tilts my head~ Anton? What is he up to? What added weapon Innis?

Innis -gives you my lopsided grin that you love- we found one other who is like morgaine and he is in full control of his powers. anton is trying to track him down under the radar and if he is successful we’re hoping that he will join us in our fight to defeat this demon not only for us, but for him as well. it’s only a matter of time till they discover his existence and come after him. if we find him first we can warn him of the threat and help protect him and his family. 

Rea: ~smiling~ Innis do you think Anton can find him and convince him to join in the fight? 

@spiritinnis -shrugs- to be honest i’d rather have mason on it, but he’s busy with other things right now. anton can pull it off he’s just crazy enough to do it. 

Rea: Why not send Levi or Nero then?

Innis -chuckles- because they’re busy keeping the demon bastard on his toes tracking them from place to place. plus nero is helping train morgaine with her magic from afar mother has taught her all that she can. she’s just caring for her and helping her with what she can. uncle lenus has helped her with her healing powers and aunt breena helped her control her ability to speak to us. 

Rea: ~shocked~ What else can our daughter do? She’s not even a year old yet.

Innis rea there is nothing that our daughter can’t do once she comes into her full powers. as for her age you must stop thinking of her in human terms, yes technically she’s not a calendar year old yet. but she is different she’s special she ages and grows faster then a human child.  

Rea: ~scoots closer and lays my head on your shoulder~ So her aging what caused this and will it slow? What is she technically? 

Innis -wraps my one arm around you- first let me start with what our daughter is, she is an immortal witch. now to explain her aging that has to do with what she is combined with when she was born which you don’t know this it was october 31, 2011 at midnight. yes it will slow once she reaches her teens then she should age normally, but it’s something we need to check with this male who is like her. 

Rea: ~with my head still resting on your shoulder I smile slightly~ Immortal Witch huh? I still find it hard to wrap my mind around the fact that you made me immortal and yet I died. I know before you say it, it was only my human form that truly died. It’s just still odd for me to wrap my mind around all of this since most of it is still new to me. Now you said that we need to check with this male who is like Morgaine about her aging normally in her teens, why? 

Innis -places a kiss on the top of your head- because uncle lenus can only give us a guess as to when she will stop her rapid aging. if we can speak with this male he will be able to give us exact details of what to expect. he may even be able to help morgaine in ways that none of us can. nero is the closest the family has to what morgaine is and she can easily surpass him at the rate she is learning.

Rea: ~lifts my head and sees the pride in your eyes~ All your life you hated your magic and what you are, but you are proud of our daughter. ~places my hands on either side of your face and really looks in yours eyes for the first time since arriving in spirit and I notice a difference that I hadn’t seen before~ Innis you have accepted what you are and you’ve come to terms with that. ~smiles~ Have you forgiven your father for the past?

Innis -gives you my lopsided smile- yes to it all rea, i’m proud of who and what i am, i’d damn proud of our daughter and yes i have forgiven father. we are actually getting along yes i was a little upset when he told me that the two of you talked and that you knew about the demon, but once he told me that you were recovering your memories on your own then i was okay with him. 

Rea: Innis I don’t want anyone to keep anything from me anymore. If we’re in this thing we’re in it together and for all of us to be successful we all have to be honest and forthcoming.

Innis fine, agreed from here on out no more secrets rea only one hundred percent honesty. -leans in claiming your lips in a searing kiss-

Rea: ~runs my hands to the nape of your neck fisting my hands in your hair as I continue to kiss you pulling you down with me as I do~

Innis -with a flick of my hand the dm door slams shut with a sign hanging from it ‘do not fucking disturb’ -

~rising from my state for respite and not seeing Innis anywhere, I go exploring my new surroundings in Spirit. As I take in the magnificence and wonder of Spirit I spy my father-in-law heading in my direction and my first instinct is to turn and head in the opposite direction, but something deep inside of me tells me to stand my ground. As I watch him from where I stand I notice him hesitate for a brief second before continuing toward me. I can’t help but smile as I can see how much Innis is like him, their build, their hair and even their walk were identical. When he reached me a slow smile crept across his face, “Hello Rea, Can we talk?”~nodding~ Sure Raghnall what’s on your mind? ~he motioned for me to walk with him, “I want to apologize for turning you way, I was wrong and for that I’m sorry. Maybe if I could have seen past my foolish pride we all wouldn’t be here. I know that I don’t have the right, but I hope that one day you can find it in you to forgive me.” ~stopping I look up at him and that same deep down feeling hits me again. Then I get a flash of Fiona and I sway on my feet. His strong, sure hands on my upper arms steady me as he questions, “Are you okay Rea?” ~confused trying to grasp onto what’s happening~ I don’t know. I feel fine, but I just saw a flash of Fiona like I’m to remember something. ~looks into his eyes~ But how is that possible I only met you and Fiona once. ~before he could respond I get another flash of her and I in her garden talking and the memory rocked me to the core my eyes widen in shock my voices high and shaky~ I forgave her and you. She told me about her love for you. ~as the rest of the memory unfurls my fingers sink into his flesh and for a few seconds I’m speechless~ Oh dear the danger that Innis keeps speaking of is the demon that killed the both of you isn’t it? ~smh~ I was in love with him, he saved me and the baby. I don’t understand what memories are still locked away from me? ~He looks at me as if he’s warring with himself before he runs a hand through his hair, “Rea you were in love with him, but there was a lot you didn’t know. Yes he saved you and Morgaine, but trust me it wasn’t for the reasons you believed.” ~blinks a few times~ Is that all you’re going to say? What the hell, this is all bullshit and I don’t know why I’m being kept in the dark. Why did my daughter take my memories and now I’m regaining them? ~Again he runs a shaky hand through his hair, “Well now we’re not actually keeping you in the dark. You do know all that there is to know and it’s only a matter of time before you remember that. Morgaine only wanted to take the demon memories from you. You must keep in mind that a newborn Witch took them as she sent you to Spirit. Her powers were untrained and unstable.” ~draws brows together~ Is that why my memories are returning? ~thinks more about what you said~ I’m going to get all my memories back and when I do I’ll know what happened. ~He clapped me on the back and let out a deep chuckle, “I knew you’d figure it out and because you did my son can’t be angry with me. now come with me there is something I want to show you.” ~We walk in silence side by side along a stream until we come to a waterfall then we stop and Raghnall turns to me, “Rea I want you to close your eyes and tell me what you sense.” ~I do as I’m instructed clearing my mind until I pick up on Fiona’s energy, but she’s not alone there’s another one with her, a faint one. Wait no not a faint one not just as familiar, without opening my eyes~ I sense Fiona as well as well as someone else, but I can’t make out the other energy. ~From right behind me I hear the low rumble of his voice, “Open your eyes Rea.” ~ I slowly open my eyes and there in the pools of the waterfall I see Fiona with a toddler in a garden. swallowing hard~ Is that… ~whispers~ Morgaine? ~With pride ringing evident in his voice, “That’s your daughter, but we can’t watch much longer. When it’s safe again we’ll look in on them again.” ~With a wave of his hand his wife and my daughter disappeared. I turned to him~ Why can’t we watch over them? ~He takes a deep breath before he turns to me, Just as we can sense their energy, the demon can sense ours especially yours. If we watch over them for too long we’d lead them right to Fiona and Morgaine.” ~confused~ Why don’t they just track straight to Fiona and Morgaine from their energy? ~ He waved his hand again and another picture appeared in the pools. This time though I was looking at Fiona at home in Detroit with an infant under a year old. The house was surrounded by demon minions.~ Why are they just surrounding the house? ~He waved clearing the image, “They cannot get any closer. The wards won’t allow it, they stand waiting thinking she must leave at some point. What they don’t know is they are watching an illusion masked with Fiona and Morgaine’s energies.” ~turning to face him again~ Then why, if the minions are watching the Detroit house, can’t we watch over the real Fiona and Morgaine? ~He motions and we start walking again, “Those minions are directed to stay put, but their Lord and master suspects that we are pulling a fast one on him. Of course he’s right because he cannot track their energies every time he does he ends up right back at the Detroit house. He has since switched his strategies and started tracking our energies and who we look in on. We discovered this when we accidentally lead him to Levi.” ~gasps~ Oh no, but wait I haven’t seen him here. Did he escape? ~He laughed, “This is Levi we’re talking about, that demon bastard could have caught him on his worst day, hung over, with his pants down and fucking and he still would have escaped. We Hennigan’s are no match for this bastard, we’re just plotting our attack and allowing Morgaine to strengthen her powers.” ~fully understanding everything you have told me and seeing that we have returned to where we started I look up and give a small smile~ Thank you for everything and I promise not to look in on Morgaine unless you or Innis say it’s okay. ~He gives me a nod, “You have a good day Rea and you did well Morgaine is an amazing child.” ~Before I could say anything he turned and walked away leaving me to think about all that we had talked about.~

Spirit Innis

-sitting next to my father- Why hasn’t she joined us yet? I’m starting to get worried. -he turns to me and says- “Don’t worry son she’ll be here in her own time. You know everyone travels over at different speeds.” -I sigh before saying-I know I’m just ready to be with her again.

-sitting watching the open clearing with a smile on my face my father says to me- “Why are you smiling son?” -without turning to him I say- She is near I can feel her now. It won’t be much longer and I will be with her once again. -he pats me on the shoulder and says- “Then I will be with your grandparents while you reunite with her.” -he then leaves me to wait by myself-

I look around trying to figure out where I am, nothing looks familiar. Everything here is beautiful the air is sweet like nothing I’ve seen before. To my left there is a clearing and I sense it is calling to me, but why? Where am I? How did I get here?

rubbing my head I try to think about the last thing I remember doing before waking up here. I get a flash of an image, Innis.. coffee I was going out to get Innis coffee? Was that it? Why can’t I remember anything? ~ I slowly get up and walk in the direction of the clearing still being drawn to it by some inner calling~

-my grin grew bigger as I could feel you drawing nearer I mutter to myself- That’s it Rea follow your instincts.

~as I crossed the clearing the pull got stronger as if it were connected to me, apart of me. I’m not afraid of it it actually feels right like it’s always meant to be with me. So I pick up the pace wanting to find what the source is. ~

-I stand up because I know that any minute now you’ll enter my sight and I want to be ready with open arms to greet you-

~the minute I see you I sprint the rest of the way bounding into your open arms hugging you to me~ Innis! Where are we?

-holding you tight to me running my fingers through your hair- We are in spirit Rea.

~pushing back from you so I can look into your face confused~ Spirit? I don’t understand, why would we be here?

-keeping my hold on you, but at arms length- Rea tell me the last thing you remember.

~scared about what going on~ I..I went out to get you coffee. ~swallows hard and whispers~ Did I die? ~smh~ Wait if that were true how did you get here before me I left you at home.

 -letting go of you shoving my hands in my hair- Shit she took away your memories too.

~grabbing a hold of your arm even more confused~ Who? Who took away my memories? Why would someone take them away? What the hell is going on here?

I don’t know where to even start Rea. -sits down and pats the ground next to me- You might as well have a seat this is going to take a little while.

~eyes you, but then sits because I want answers~ Why don’t you start with who took my memories and why?

-takes your hand in mine and toys with your fingers- Morgaine took your memories and I can only assume she did it because she didn’t want you to remember what happened to me or you.

Who is Morgaine? Is what happened that bad that I don’t want to know?

Morgaine is our daughter and yes things are that bad that you don’t want to know. She was right to take the memories from you.

~turns my head away from you to hide my hurt~ So we have this daughter and it’s better for me not to remember her at all.

-turning you to face me- Listen Rea even if you had your memories of our daughter they would only be of your pregnancy you died giving birth to her.

~a tear slips down my cheek~ So we are dead and I have a daughter that I will never know, much less remember.

-runs my thumb across your cheek brushing away your tears- Hey now, our human forms are no longer, but we live on here in spirit. As for Morgaine you will know her we can look in on her from here, but right now it is not safe.

~leans into your hand~ What does it matter if we live on here if we can’t be with our daughter?

It matters because she is the key to spirit. Our daughter is a very special little girl and when the time is right we will all be reunited again.

~sits up a little straighter~ What do you mean when the time is right? How is that possible?

-smiles at you- When the danger passes and Morgaine has her skills under control she will be able to control spirit allowing us to choose to stay here and her visiting us or we can rejoin her on earth if she so chooses to grant us that gift.

~smiles then frowns~ There’s no telling how long this will be though is there? How old is our daughter anyway?

No there’s no telling how long Rea. As for her age it’s complicated as I said she’s a very special little girl. In human terms she was born about 10 months ago. Physically she looks like a 2 year old and mentally she’s about 5 years old.
